The untouched Angela Eagle office window
1st February 2017
Cast your minds back to June / July 2016.
After publicly disowning Jeremy Corbyn, Wallasey MP Angela Eagle was telling anybody who’d listen – which happily for her was an eager, Westminster pack of mainstream journalists with cameras and dictaphones at the ready – that not only had she been the victim of alleged homophobia, intimidation, bullying and offensive phone calls (the vast bulk of it never reported to the police at any time – even to this day), but she’d had a brick thrown through her constituency office window in Manor Road, Wallasey.
Luckily this appears to have been reported to the police by office staff, before any meddlesome politico with an axe to grind* could get their manipulating hands onto it.
*This is not a reference to Imran Ahmed – Twitter handle @Imi_Ahmed – Angela Eagle’s bright and keen to impress leadership…

Posted on Facebook yesterday evening:
What have we become in the UK – a nation of bullies?
For those asking, it was Debenhams in Portsmouth.
So to some of you you know my predicament of being homeless. But yesterday morning I woke up feeling wet socks and clothes thought I might of left a bottle open or something. I then get told by the security of Debenhams I have 10 minutes which was fine. But as he walked away he said enjoy your water bed. So I bite back as it being boxing day. So I then begin to pack up my bedding to then discover that the secunity guard from the inside of debenhams had flooded all my bedding. And ruined clothing food dog bedding public donations brought by the kind members of public. So a few of us went into speak to management didn’t…

Dear Mr McNicol
Appeal against Expulsion from the Labour Party
Membership Number: Lxxxxxxx
I acknowledge receipt of your email of 7 September 2016, and the copy letter, received this morning. I wish to appeal against my expulsion.
I was born into a middle class Tory voting household and to my eternal shame joined the Conservative Party at age 16. Three years later I was elected Vice Chairman of the Northern Region of the Federation of Conservative Students. I even helped Margaret Thatcher get elected in 1979.
But, life is a great leveller and educator, as I am sure you will agree.
My education began in the early 1980s as a teacher in the South Yorkshire pit village of Darton. I lived in the village for four years among…

I regularly write to raise concerns about the current government’s misuse of psychologyin public policies and research. There has been a shift towards the formulation of targeted, prejudiced, class contingent policies which have the central aim of “changing behaviours.” This neo-behaviourist approach has some profound implications for democracy. It constrains autonomy and curtails the basic liberties of targeted citizens.
On the government website, a contract finder notice for the “Provision of Research Laboratory Facilities” for the Department for Work and Pensions says:
“The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) requires research to be undertaken, in a research laboratory environment, with recipients of the Carers Allowance and recipients of the Employment and Support Allowance (ESA).
In a typical lab situation DWP shall have one DWP researcher in a room with the participant and other DWP researchers (if appropriate) and invited observers behind a two way mirror…

So how do you go through hundreds of thousands of social media accounts with a handful of staff? Answer: You don’t. You pay SEOs/Social media companies for the information.
On facebook, members have expressed fear, anxiety, and have even been suicidal. People under the most pressure from the Tories already. Junior doctors, nurses, the disabled, Union leaders. The anguished thought, taking many forms, is ‘How can our comrades do this to us?’
Image from http://www.thegospelcoalition.org
Sitting with their spreadsheets in Labour HQ, no doubt depressed by columns of invective and swearing without context, our comrades see only the back end of the elephant.
The Owen Smith team are right in a way. Almost everyone is an entryist. There are few “pure” Socialists, if any, because our code is inherently compromised. The solutions are radical: Firstly we must reach out to Johanna Baxter and co. Be part of their Social Media…
